Speed of Light: a virtual walk through the world of lighting technology at Audi
The Audistream virtual visit platform launches a new experience, Speed of Light, which lets us discover the evolution and operation of Audi headlights

AudiStream, the interactive platform for running interactive tours of Audi, is renewed and expands its range of online tours so that users can learn first-hand about the evolution of lighting technologies of the brand with the four rings. From April 25, 2023, viewers will be able to enjoy “The Speed of Light”, a live broadcast that shows interesting data and explores the evolution of front and rear headlights, from the early days when cars used real fire for illumination, to the digital Matrix LED headlights and digital OLED rear lights of current technology, first presented on the Audi e-tron 2019.
AudiStream’s live online tours feature specialized moderators who accompany and answer users’ questions in real time. Interested viewers can access the tour online from their computer or mobile device, booking for free in advance on the website, choosing the time and language of the virtual visit. Expert guides moderate the live online visit from a studio and adapt the content and order of events to the interests of viewers, answering their questions and providing individual attention.

Includes personalized online assistance
During the virtual visit, AudiStream’s specialized moderators will explain the evolution of the company’s headlights. Viewers will also be able to immerse themselves and see how the design and lighting technology of Audi will look in the future with the concept car Audi AI:CON. These models, the stars of the live broadcast of “The Speed of Light”, can be found in the physical exhibition offered by the company at the Audi museum mobile.
The AudiStream platform includes a total of five programs of interactive tours with free access and approximately 25 minutes each. The online tour programs of the Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm factories take you on a journey through the different production processes of the company Audi and include personalized assistance.

An online tour through five distinct areas
Among the five tour programs available, unique and immersive experiences are offered in the manufacturing stage of its cars. With the “Insight Audi Design” program, participants have the opportunity to discover from the inside the design of Audi and, in addition, can observe the production of models such as the Audi A3 and the Audi A4. Meanwhile, “Audi Tradition” takes viewers on a journey through more than 120 years of automotive history.

The multimedia library completes the offer with a wide range of content from the AudiStream theme world. The guided virtual visit began in 2019 with the possibility of offering its customers the opportunity to virtually learn how the plant operates in Ingolstadt, and continues innovating and producing new ways of offering its customers unique and close experiences.
