Sport Wheels presents its own Audi R8 Spyder

The German tuner Sport Wheels is back after perhaps too long an absence, and with nothing less than an imposing Audi R8 Spyder up its sleeve, a model you are sure to like if only for its imposing presence.

I say “if only” because if a model like the Audi R8 Spyder is a vehicle that is not within everyone’s reach, this tuning package is even less so, since having an R8 Spyder just as you can see in the header photo will mean an extra outlay of nothing less than 62,000 euros, which is more or less half of what the car costs new.

So much so that, for example, installing the body kit made entirely of carbon fibre will cost you 7,799 euros for the front bumper, 1,259 euros for the brake cooling ducts, 1,799 euros for the front spoiler, 4,799 euros for the rear bumper, 3,799 euros for the diffuser and 1,999 for the rear wing.

As you can see, things are gradually getting out of hand: for example, the 20-inch alloy wheels on the front axle and 21-inch on the rear axle, fitted with Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres, are priced at 4,599 euros, while the new sports suspension goes up to 7,349 euros.

Mechanically, according to the tuner, the model you see in the images has had its power raised to a more than imposing 600 horsepower and 580 Nm of maximum torque, something that will cost you the modest sum of 6,048 euros.

Finally, if you want to equip your car with a braking system worthy of the rest of the package, with, for example, ceramic discs from the specialist MOV’IT, it will set you back the not inconsiderable price of 21,990 euros.
