The upcoming Maserati Quattroporte model has been caught red-handed testing on an ice track used by the Fiat Group for prototype testing in Sweden. The saloon is expected to be unveiled for the first time at the next Paris Motor Show.

The most significant point, as little can be said due to the heavy camouflage the car wears during testing, is that it will be slightly larger than the current version, although it will weigh less thanks to the use of aluminium across almost the entire platform, among other things.

Moving on to the engines. It is by no means certain, but this new Maserati Quattroporte could house a 4.7-litre V8, which would produce around 475 CV. The gearbox would be a ZF eight-speed automatic.

By the way, in January we showed some images of this car. That said, both J.L. and I think the same thing: it doesn’t make sense that the photos have already leaked.
