Spy photos of the 2010 Opel Meriva

The new 2010 Opel Meriva should reach the market over the course of next year, but given General Motors’ delicate situation, it is still too early to predict anything. For now, we have the first spy photos.

As for the exterior design, for the moment we only have the concept presented at the Geneva Motor Show last year. The question remains about how the rear doors will open, since the concept had rear-hinged doors, and it seems these will not be kept on the production model.

As for engines, for now it is known that it will feature some engines taken from the Corsa and a front end in line with the Insignia. It should be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
