The best-selling version of the German brand BMW has been spotted with a facelift. Although the photos show some camouflage, the new design direction that BMW intends to follow for its 3 Series Coupé can be seen. Most of the redesign focuses on the rear, around the lights and the bumper, with smoother curves. At the front, the bumper with a new style of air intakes and the grille, which will surely be modified will undoubtedly give the model a sportier look.

Inside, similar changes are expected to those of the Saloon and Touring, including the whole update of the elements that make driving or touring more comfortable, and an improved version of BMW’s iDrive system.

As for the engines, nothing is known for certain, but it is most likely that it will keep the same engines as the current models. This cosmetic update is expected to reach the market in spring or summer 2010.
