Spy photos of the BMW X5 with the front end exposed
After several spy shots of the BMW X5 covered in camouflage, we can now see the new front end that the BMW X5 will have after the facelift it has undergone. The changes are quite minor, with a rather conservative design.
It is expected to be unveiled at the end of the year in Europe and would go on sale in mid-2010. There are also rumours about the unveiling of a hybrid version of the BMW X5 that would initially reach the US market.
There won’t be many changes in the engine range, as the current engines are expected to be retained along with an update to the 3.0 turbodiesel. It is expected that a twin-turbo 4.4L V8 could arrive, delivering more power and torque than the current 5.0L V10 of the current M5.
