According to the statements of the development director of Lamborghini, Maurizio Reggiani to the magazine Autocar, the Estoque project is suspended indefinitely citing the poor current state of the market and the brand’s new launches.

Suspending the Estoque project without incurring excessive losses for Lamborghini means that the model was still at an early stage of development. In addition, the brand’s short-term goals are reducing the weight of its cars and the arrival of the E-Gear sequential gearbox (6-speed manual gearbox with an electro-mechanical mechanism for shifting gears).
