If after some time driving your Audi R8 V8, its 430 horsepower start to feel a bit short and you’re even beginning to regret not having bought the V10 version, you can now find a solution thanks to the new project recently unveiled by the guys at STaSIS.

As the title of this post says, the upgrades have consisted of increasing the power of the V8 in your wonderful Audi up to 540 horsepower, an extra output that represents an increase of 110 horsepower over the original V8 and even 15 more than the standard power of the V10 version.

To achieve this huge increase, the engineers at STaSIS speak of installing a new supercharging system Eaton/Magnusson TVS 1900, as well as an independent charging system and even improvements to the vehicle’s cooling system and ECU.

On the other hand, there is a new exhaust system made of stainless steel, specially designed to improve the power and efficiency of the Audi R8 V8, while to enhance its handling STaSIS has fitted suspension upgrades, larger brakes and even 20-inch forged alloy wheels mounted on high-performance tyres.

As a result, you have in front of you an Audi R8 V8 capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, 0.8 seconds faster than the standard version and even quicker than the version equipped with the V10 engine, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds as standard.
