Terrible accident aboard a Porsche 997 GT2 Martini Edition

Perhaps there are certain people in the world who are very fortunate, not only for having the means, or a bank account large enough, to buy unique vehicles like the Porsche 997 GT2 Martini Edition you see in the photos, or simply for walking away unharmed from accidents like the one I will try to tell you about below.

Without a doubt a terrible event which, according to the Finnish newspaper Iltalehti, occurred between a Porsche 997 GT2 Martini Edition and a truck that happened to be travelling along the same road.

Apparently, according to the newspaper, the Porsche lost control, spinning around twice before crashing irreparably into the truck. Thankfully its two occupants were lucky enough to walk away from a fairly serious accident; one only has to look at the final state of the 997 to realise this.

As the Finnish newspaper rightly says, the car has irreversible and quite dramatic damage. For example, the front right side has been literally torn off, with no trace of what was once a wheel. According to the source, the case is under investigation, although alcohol on the part of the driver has been totally ruled out.
