Tesla also cuts its prices in Spain
The American company has announced that the prices of the different versions of the Model Y and Model 3 are falling worldwide, including Spain.

For the past few days, we have been seeing how Tesla is cutting the prices of its models all over the world. China was the first major market to receive this good news. Prices dropped quite a lot, which led some recent customers of the brand to get upset and cause problems at a dealership of the brand. This market was followed by the United States, and today they have announced that this price reduction will reach the Tesla models sold in Europe. And, of course, Spain.
The price cuts focus on the Model 3 and the Model Y, which are the ones receiving the most attention from buyers. There are several reasons for this price reduction on Tesla cars. In principle, inflation adjustment could be one of them, but the company also points to increased local production of these two models.

Thanks to production at the Berlin Gigafactory, the expensive tariffs applied to vehicles coming from China are avoided, so the cost decreases. Another reason the company cites is economies of scale, which has allowed the rear-wheel-drive Model Y and Model 3 produced in Shanghai for Europe to also lower their price.
New Tesla prices for Spain
With this update to the prices of the Tesla Model Y and Model 3, it becomes cheaper to get one of these highly sought-after vehicles for anyone who wants to enter electric mobility. Among all the variants affected by this decision, the long-range Tesla Model Y stands out. It had suffered a price increase of almost 12,000 euros that placed it outside the Plan Moves III subsidy. Now it returns to an acceptable level, which will make it even more popular than it already is.
These are the new prices at which Tesla models can be found in Spain, although buyers may get some additional discount or promotion from the manufacturer, so they may even come down further:
| MODEL | VERSION | PRICE |
|---|---|---|
| MODEL 3 | Rear-wheel drive | 46,200 € |
| MODEL 3 | Long Range | 52,400 € |
| MODEL 3 | Performance | 59,990 € |
| MODEL Y | Rear-wheel drive | 48,200 € |
| MODEL Y | Long Range | 53,400 € |
| MODEL Y | Performance | 63,990 € |
