Tesla's Autopilot put to the test in a video... and it fails
A video recorded by a driver of a Tesla Model S 75 shows that the Autopilot developed by Tesla is not yet living up to expectations

One of the major assets Tesla plays with is its Autopilot, the autonomous driving system marketed as one of the most sophisticated on the market. It is a driver-assistance system that should be able to drive the car without the need for human intervention. But in reality, the technology still needs more than one adjustment before everything works properly.
In this video we can see a user using Autopilot to let the Model S 75 drive itself, but they have to stay constantly alert at the wheel, since the system cannot handle the route properly under normal conditions and runs into a series of difficulties in keeping control of the car. And not only on overly tight bends, but also on a straight, curve-free stretch it cannot stay within the lane.

This video shows how the accidents suffered by several cars driven by these automatic systems may not be so rare, and that all these systems people are being asked to trust right now are still too incomplete to be relied upon. The tests carried out on the models of the American manufacturer have been conducted on the track, but the drivers and owners of the cars are also left to run their own tests on the systems.
This causes no small number of problems, because although the results of those tests help improve the system through successive updates, minor accidents may occur, since the product has not been fully tested. And that is, fortunately, because several more serious accidents have been recorded that caused injuries and even at least one death. Is fully operational autonomous driving in today’s cars still a long way off? I think so, but the advances are remarkable and we may soon be able to trust these systems to handle our journeys. But in the meantime…
