The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale debuts the Blu Reale colour, a 1967 classic, at the 33 Stradale Day

After introducing the model in two shades of red, the 33 Stradale adds a classic Alfa Romeo colour, Blu Reale, along with new wheels.

The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale has become a classic of the brand, and enthusiasts can find examples finished in Rosso Alfa and the more sophisticated Rosso Villa D’Este. Now, however, a colour has been presented that joins these two and breaks with the aesthetic we know. It also pays tribute to the model’s past. It is Blu Reale, which was already worn by this model in 1967.

To unveil it, Alfa Romeo waited for the 33 Stradale Day, which fell, of course, on 3 March, 3/3. On this day, fans of the classic model and its new incarnation were invited to share with one another everything related to it and the new features on offer.

The Blu Reale colour comes with newly designed wheels, which create an elegant contrast with the bodywork. These wheels have been created to bring the 33 Stradale closer to its retro style, thanks to a design with more circular details than the standard wheels, which have only five circles. In addition, the silver finish gives it a sportier and more attractive touch.

Inside, the choice is black Alcantara upholstery, which follows the line set by the bodywork, breaking with the design we had until now, although it has red decorative details that enhance the interior’s look.

Only 33 units for 33 lucky owners

The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale will be limited to 33 units. It will be offered in two versions, with a combustion engine and fully electric. The first version will feature a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine. This is capable of delivering 620 CV and a top speed of 333 km/h.

As for the electric version, it offers 750 CV and a range of 450 kilometres. Both versions send all their power to the rear axle, so they deliver a very special driving experience that will make whoever gets behind the wheel enjoy an incredible drive.

The 33, an important number for Alfa Romeo

For Alfa Romeo, the number 33 is very significant. Besides giving its name to this model, in 1933 the 8C 2300 won the Mille Miglia, Targa Florio and Le Mans races. To round off the importance of this figure, an incredible coincidence has occurred: a 33% growth in the brand’s sales throughout 2023.

For now, no examples are in the hands of their buyers yet, but several are expected to take part in the next event next year.
