The Audi A1 incorporates the 1.4 TFSI engine with 140 CV

The range of the Audi A1 will be expanded this month with a new engine joining the line-up. It is the 1.4 TFSI engine with 140 horsepower, available with a seven-speed S-Tronic automatic dual-clutch gearbox or a manual gearbox and in two body styles, all starting at a price of 19,700 euros on the Spanish market.

This engine will be added to the existing 1.2-litre versions and to the 1.4 TFSI in 122 and 185 horsepower versions, as well as to the two diesel engines of 1.6 and 2 litres. The new A1 model will have a top speed of 203 km/h, according to Audi, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds. The consumption figures announced by the German manufacturer for this A1 variant are 6.5 L/100 km in urban cycle and 5.3 L/100 km in combined cycle.
