The Audi Q4 e-tron is being prepared to receive an update at the end of 2025: here is what we know

The Audi Q4 e-tron will receive an update within a few months, but we already know some of the details that the renewed German electric SUV will incorporate.

Audi is preparing an update for the Q4 e-tron, which is expected to be unveiled at the end of this year. It is an update about which we are gradually learning things that give us a closer look at the future of the model. The new Audi Q4 e-tron has been spotted camouflaged during several test runs, so the changes can be seen, although not in detail.

What has been observed is that elements such as the bonnet and the wings will be retained, although modifications are expected to the grille, the bumper and the headlights. The design of the daytime running lights is different, with a more modern style. These lights are expected to use the same technology as the headlights already fitted to the Audi A4, the A6 e-tron and the Q6 e-tron.

The grille design will also be different, as the current hexagonal mesh will be replaced by several horizontal slats. The Audi emblem, the four rings, will not be illuminated. The reason is that it is quite large and does not meet the dimensions required by regulations to qualify for illumination. Audi has decided to remove the possibility of it being lit by reducing the size of the emblem, so it keeps its size and forgoes the lighting.

A more complete range of driver assistance systems is also expected, including new ADAS. At the rear, there will also be significant changes. The infotainment system will receive updates as well. The interface is going to be redesigned, so users will be able to enjoy a smoother and more intuitive user experience. There is talk of the introduction of next-generation semi-automated driving systems, although this has not yet been confirmed.

The rear lighting system will receive a new design that will change its light signature. As for the engines, buyers will have two options. The entry-level version will have an engine with an output of 286 CV, while the all-wheel-drive version will offer 340 CV.

It is important to point out that Audi intends to reduce the price of the Audi Q4 e-tron as the updated model approaches, so it could be a good time to get hold of a unit of this version, which is about to disappear. However, the brand is confident that the new features, which will be confirmed in due course, are worth waiting for, so you can enjoy all the novelties that are about to arrive. The images accompanying this article show the current version of the Audi Q4 e-tron, as none of the renewed model has been revealed yet.
