The Bentley Batur, ready to begin production
The British brand has announced that production of the Bentley Batur is about to begin, and soon the model’s 18 units will reach their buyers.

Bentley is one of the most recognised luxury car brands in the world, so it is no surprise that it is announcing a striking model for its exclusive customers. The Bentley Batur has been making headlines for some months now, since the start of its development was announced. Now it is ready to move into production, although only 18 units will be built of this model. Apart from the two development mules that were built before.
These two units were built with all the elements that will form part of the final production units, so they are exact copies, with everything that will be found in the final vehicles. They have been subjected to the most demanding tests, with road and race-track testing, where speeds of up to 320 km/h could be reached.

Two development models
To carry out these tests, two mules were built: cars on which work is carried out to finalise the design and fine-tune the vehicle’s characteristics. They were the Bentley Car Zero and the Bentley Car Zero Zero. The first has been painted in Purple Sector. It has been fitted with decorative and practical elements such as front splitters, side sills and a rear diffuser finished in glossy natural fibre.

The front grille has a very eye-catching design, featuring a gradient from the body colour to Dark Crystal, which contrasts with the Gloss Dark Titanium that predominates on it. The bonnet features the “infinite bonnet” effect and is finished in Satin Titanium, while the 22-inch wheels have been finished in glossy Black Satin Crystal.
The Car Zero-Zero has been painted in Marina Teal. It also carries the full set of elements used on the other vehicle, such as the LED headlights. Both have undergone high-speed driving on test circuits over more than 2,500 kilometres, as well as many other kilometres in normal day-to-day conditions and driving over demanding terrain.
Each of the car’s elements has been adjusted and an optimal result has been achieved, which has allowed the model to move on to the production phase. Each car is hand-assembled, so each of the 18 planned cars will need time to be completed.

Engine of the Bentley Batur
The engine fitted to this exclusive model is a W12 unit that has been installed in the Bentley Continental GT and delivers a maximum output of 750 CV. This engine has been adapted to this model and its characteristics adjusted so that it offers the best performance with the model’s chassis.
Another important detail of this model is that its bodywork has been manufactured by the Mulliner division. It uses several sustainable materials and 3D-printed elements, such as ornamental details in gold. The luxury and exclusivity of these elements make this Bentley a very attractive and desirable vehicle, so the fortunate buyers who are able to secure one of these units will enjoy driving it greatly.
