The Bentley Continental GT will debut at the Detroit Motor Show

The Bentley Continental V8 will be shown for the first time at the year’s first motor show, the Detroit Motor Show. This English luxury monster will present its new V8 engine, developed together with Audi, which delivers almost 600 horsepower.

Compared with the 12-cylinder model, the brand will continue to offer the Continental with the W12, although the new direct-injection V8 matches its power and surpasses it in consumption.

Returning to the new V8, the Continental can be bought with a single turbo or with the addition of twin-turbo. The single-turbo version is said to produce 420 CV and the twin-turbo will reach 563 CV.

At the same time, Bentley is preparing the presentation of the new GTC in Frankfurt and the probable renewal of the GTC Speed, which is planned to be presented during 2012.
