The BMW X4 is back from the dead

With so many SUVs in BMW’s “X” lineup, it seemed it no longer needed another one. With the X1, X3, X5 and X6 (not counting the recently discontinued X6 Active Hybrid), the model range is varied, but BMW has not finished yet. The X4, which had been set aside by the brand, is back in the running.
The cancelled X4 apparently received some revisions from the engineers who worked on the previous project and has once again been presented for approval to the bosses at BMW. One of the company’s CEOs was able to announce that the X4 will indeed be built.
The engines the X4 will most likely use will be the X3’s engine range (184 to 306 CV). It is also said to be equipped with all-wheel drive, start/stop, a head-up display and voice control. Apparently, the X4 will reach the market in 2014, according to the indiscreet CEO of the brand.
