The Bultaco Brinco "seduces" the Armed Forces
The Bultaco Brinco was the star of a gathering that brought together representatives from more than 10 Armed Forces and Security Corps.
Commanders from the SEADA (Second Air Deployment Support Squadron), the Military Emergency Unit (UME), Navy Special Operations (Naval Special Warfare Force), the Army, the Armada Tercio, the Plus Ultra Squadron of the Royal Guard, the National Police Corps, the Utrera Local Police, the Air Traffic Control Mobile Group (GRUMOCA), the Civil Guard’s SEPRONA, personnel from the Morón Air Base, and even representatives of the United States Air Force (USAF) and the US Marine Corps, gathered to get to know and test all versions of the Bultaco Brinco, including those in the Army range, of which SEADA has already acquired some units, as well as prototypes for future projects focused on defense and security.

After a theoretical explanation of the moto-bike concept and its possible uses, dynamic tests were carried out on a course that ran within the Air Base and its surroundings, so that the units could observe the different situations they might encounter in their activities and thus assess the Brinco’s operability and performance. The various units carried out the tests in their respective work uniforms, and two military personnel even rode equipped as they would on a real mission, with protective vest and helmet.
Once the tests were completed, an exchange of opinions took place between the attendees and Bultaco’s technicians, with the aim of studying and offering the best product to meet the varied needs of the different Security Corps.

These were the words of Commander Manuel García de Consuegra, of the Morón Air Base, at the end of the test: “The Bultaco Brinco is something completely different, very comfortable as a reaction unit for patrol and base surveillance.” “If it were up to me, I would deploy it in my city, I give it a 10.” The impressions of the Civil Guard’s SEPRONA sergeant were similar: “I found it versatile and dynamic, I can see its potential. Moreover, it is not polluting, which is essential for us.”

For his part, Jorge Bonilla, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Bultaco Motors, stated: “When Bultaco officially announced its return to the market on 17 May 2014, the new team of professionals that make up Bultaco Motors expressed their commitment and duty to maintain the essence of the brand, a history built on values, people, innovative solutions and dreams that come true. Today, one of these dreams has come true: being NATO-approved suppliers confirms the consistency of the Bultaco Brinco and the technical capability of Bultaco Motors as a supplier of special fleets intended for professional use.”
