Car rental companies are a type of business that has carved out a place for itself in the automotive world over time, but they need to renew themselves gradually so as not to become obsolete. Hertz, one of the longest-established firms in the rental industry, has wanted to improve its vehicle fleet to continue offering an impeccable service to its customers and, to do so, has turned to Subaru. The Japanese brand will play a leading role so that Hertz’s success remains intact and keeps growing.

If you are a car enthusiast, we are almost sure that when you have rented a vehicle you fantasised about being given a more exclusive or special model, but this rarely happened. On this occasion, however, Subaru and Hertz want our dreams to come true and, although the Japanese firm is more than well known in the automotive world, they have also wanted to be so in the rental world.

Subaru has supported the American company with two of its star models: the Forester and the Outback. The Japanese firm has sold Hertz 50 units of each model, but for now only 20 of each are available and the remaining 30 will join the fleet next June, an ideal date when transfers and trips take place.

Hertz can boast of being the first company in Spain to offer the Subaru Forester and Outback within its range of vehicles. Both models are presented as the ideal companion for our holidays, since their large dimensions allow us to travel comfortably and, at the same time, fill the boot with all our belongings without problems. However, the Subaru offer not only comfort, since both the Outback and the Forester rely on the Symmetrical AWD permanent all-wheel-drive system and X-Mode to guarantee constant grip on the tarmac and the ability to tackle any terrain, whatever the situation.

Safety is also a natural feature of all Subaru models and the rental units come with the EyeSight system as standard. Thanks to this, the Outback and Forester that become ours for a short period will offer features such as pre-collision automatic braking, adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, among others.

The first 30 units of both models will be available at Hertz branches in Madrid, Málaga and Barcelona, cities that have shown great enthusiasm for the Subaru. With the arrival of the remaining 20 units in summer, both Hertz and Subaru will be ready for anyone who wants to enjoy either of the two models to do so.
