The Chevrolet Agile will be marketed in South America

General Motors has announced that the Chevrolet Agile will be available exclusively for the South American market starting in December of this year, and as a preview it has released some sketches that show promising prospects for the compact.
As can be seen in the images, the front grille keeps the manufacturer’s typical style with the golden logo located in the center; however, the rest offers a fresh and innovative look for the market it will be introduced into.
Although interior aspects are not detailed, we can speculate on an innovative design, good use of space, and possibly the inclusion of some of the new technologies introduced in the old continent.
According to GM’s Director of Design for Mercosur, Carlos Barba, the goal was to create a vehicle for a demanding audience, one that can attract urban customers as well as country-loving users.
GM’s plant in Argentina is ready and equipped for manufacturing the Agile, and workers have even already been trained for the perfect operation of the facilities.
The compact will join other products sold in Mercosur such as the Chevrolet Corsa, Spark, Aveo, Astra, Meriva, Vectra, Zafira, Blazer, Captiva, S10 and Corvette.
