The Citroën C4 takes first place in November registrations

The Citroën C4 was the best-selling car in Spain in November, with 2,089 units sold, while the Renault Megane finished the month in second place, ahead of the Nissan Qashqai.

The PIVE Plan is acting as a safety net capable of softening the drop in car sales in our country. While it is not ideal, at least we have seen that not as few cars have been sold as expected before the PIVE Plan ended, although the figures may still fall short by year-end, by around 50,000 units less than anticipated.

While the government decides what to do with PIVE in 2013, let’s look at which cars have been the most favoured by sales. In November, the best seller was the Citroën C4, with 2,089 units sold.

Behind the French car comes another French one, this time the Renault Megane, a tireless leader in Spanish consumer preferences and always among the top positions. The Megane came close to taking the crown from the C4, with 1,950 units, although it leads the annual total.

Next come the crossover Nissan Qashqai, which added 1,563 registrations in the month, the Seat León, which sold 1,431 units, and the Seat Ibiza with its 1,319 registrations.

As a point of curiosity, the BMW 3 Series managed to sell 67.2% more than in November 2011, the month against which the percentage increases and decreases in each model’s sales are compared.

Un dato a tener en cuenta: al C4 se le suman las ventas de la C4 Picasso y C4 GRand Picasso, y al Megane las ventas de las dos Scénic.
