The Corvette C7 in a digital teaser animation

Based on the sketches and spy photos that have been circulating for some time about the Corvette C7, which is scheduled for release in 2014, a digital company called Trinity Animation has set about creating a digitally animated video starring the new Corvette.

Watching the video, we cannot tell whether the Corvette will really become a coupe with a more Japanese style than ever (it seems we are looking at an imaginary coupe of Toyota or Nissan), or whether the people at Trinity Animation simply have a prodigious imagination, but one ultimately far removed from reality, from GM’s actual plans.

You’ll find the video after the jump. We look forward to your comments, for or against. What do you think of this new Corvette? Will it be the real C7?
