Chevrolet Corvette Curiosities Supercars
The Corvette C7 opts for the seven-speed manual gearbox

It is no secret that Chevrolet is already working on the next generation of the Corvette, a supercar which, according to the latest news published by the guys at Inside Line, reveals certain details that sound very much like what Porsche showed us at the Frankfurt Motor Show
As you well know, the current Chevrolet Corvette is offered with a six-speed manual gearbox in its Z06 and ZR1 versions, or a six-speed automatic, and this gearbox will be updated to offer, at least in its manual version, seven speeds, a move, as I was saying, very similar to the one Porsche has decided to make.
On the other hand, and once again we have to talk about the engine chosen to power the new Corvette C7, an engine that supposedly would have a displacement of three litres following a V8 layout (the goat is pulling towards the mountain). At least, although its power rises slightly to 440 CV, we know that its strength lies in its displacement, which would be reduced from the 6.2 litres of the current C6.
