The DFSK 600 will arrive in Spain at the end of summer and will cost less than you expect

There are brands that are gradually establishing themselves in the Spanish market and that little by little are increasing the offer of their range. One of the Chinese brands growing in our country is DFSK, which currently has four models on sale here. These are four SUVs, named 500, 580, E5 and F5. But at the end of this summer it will be boosted by the addition of a new model, called DFSK 600.

DFSK’s newcomer will share the same design style as the rest of the brand’s models, with a current and modern look. At the front you can see the brand emblem and beneath it the imposing front grille finished in black. Another feature of the front is the presence of LED daytime running lights, joined by a horizontal strip that gives uniformity to the front end.

At the rear we find taillights joined by a central light and a bumper with a bulky design, featuring two exhaust outlets finished with a chrome decorative element. The wheels we see are 18 inches and give it a sturdy, dynamic appearance.

Its length is 4.72 metres, which allows a third row of seats. This brings it very close to the DFSK 580, which will possibly be replaced by this model. We do not yet know the boot capacity, which should be considerable if the third row of seats is not folded down, but we will soon learn this and other details about the model.

DFSK 600 engine

As far as the engine is concerned, the DFSK 600 will be available with only one engine: a 1.5 TGDI four-cylinder petrol engine. This delivers 184 CV of power and offers a top speed of 185 km/h. Other features include a McPherson front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension with anti-roll bar. The brakes use 300 mm discs at the front and 298 mm at the rear.

Technological equipment

The interior is headlined by a 12.3-inch multimedia screen. The infotainment system is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The multifunction steering wheel is leather-covered, the air conditioning is automatic, and there are controls to adjust the seat to the driver’s needs and preferences. The upholstery is eco-leather, which gives the cabin a very attractive look.

The driver assistance systems include cruise control, several driving modes, rear parking sensors and a 360º camera. For the time being, we do not know the price, but this important detail will be made public soon.
