The DFSK E5 offers 100 units at a lower price and two more years of warranty

If you ask about the selling price of a DFSK E5, they will tell you it comes to 30,999 euros. But the brand wants buyers to get closer to this model, so it has prepared quite an attractive offer. The final price can drop as low as 25,999 euros. To reach this price, you have to finance the car and the customer must sign up for the MOVES plan at the time of purchase. To do so, they will need to offer a car for scrapping.

But there are other advantages offered by the brand that may tip a hesitant buyer toward this model. The fact is that DFSK will extend the warranty by two years on its models. This will only apply to the first 100 cars registered before 31 October. In total, that means eight years of warranty, instead of the six years they usually offer.

Engine and battery

For buyers to get closer to this model, it is worth remembering that it has a 1.5-litre petrol engine that delivers 110 CV. This is combined with an electric motor that produces 135 kW, equivalent to 176 CV. That is the figure it reaches as total power. The drivetrain is paired with an automatic gearbox that allows it to extract all the performance possible, making it a car more than capable of meeting what is demanded of it.

The battery, for its part, has a capacity of 17.5 kWh. It provides an electric-mode range of up to 87 kilometres and can charge from alternating current at up to 6.6 kW. So it can recover its charge in four hours.

In addition, the battery can supply energy thanks to its bidirectional charging system. Thanks to the V2L system it can supply energy to charge electric bicycles, electric scooters and other similar devices with a maximum power of 3.3 kW.

A single trim level

The DFSK E5 is sold in Spain with a single trim level, the Intelligent. It comes with foldable, electrically adjustable mirrors. The LED headlights switch on automatically, and you can enjoy a panoramic roof. The tailgate is electrically operated, it is fitted with roof rails, and the alloy wheels measure 19 inches.

The DFSK E5’s seven seats are upholstered in eco-leather. The multifunction steering wheel and the driver’s seat, which can be adjusted in six positions and features heating and ventilation, improve comfort. The infotainment system is controlled through a Smart 12.3-inch screen, and the instrument cluster is displayed on a seven-inch screen. The sound system has 12 speakers and Bluetooth, USB connectivity, and compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Mobile devices can be charged with the wireless charger, and you will enjoy an air conditioner. Entry and start can be done without a key, which also improves the car’s usability. Other features that enhance driving safety are six airbags that protect the occupants, hill start assist, rear cross-traffic alert, parking sensors, and lane change warning.
