The Dodge Challenger GT AWD demonstrates the strength of its all-wheel drive in Alaska

The popular and admired American muscle cars are known for their powerful drive and imposing presence to tackle the arid roads of the United States, which need a powerful engine to cover the great distances that exist in this country. What they usually don’t have is all-wheel drive, as they were not designed for it. But that has changed, and the result is quite spectacular.
FCA’s muscle car, the Dodge Challenger GT AWD, has received this type of drive and although it is not a car accustomed to needing this, it has been seen enjoying the road in places where it is perhaps not very common to find it. We are talking about the also harsh roads of Alaska. The video you can watch below is an American commercial and plays on the legend that from the northernmost part of this state, across the Bering Strait, Russian territory can be seen.

The idea of the ad is that, as the car approaches this place, the Russians on the other side of the Strait will be able to hear the roar of the Dodge Challenger’s engine, having managed to reach a place that is normally inaccessible to a car of this kind. A lovely idea that shows us how the car moves on a snow-covered road.
The imposing Pentastar V6 3.5-litre engine delivers 305 CV of power and a maximum torque of 363 Nm, which, when sent to all four wheels, allows the car to have better control on difficult surfaces, such as the snowy roads we see in the commercial. It is not common to see this model face these challenges, but as we can see, all-wheel drive helps it move with freedom.
