The Eagle EG6330K is presented as the Chinese reinterpretation of the BMW Isetta
Eagle has just unveiled the EG6330K, a small electric vehicle very similar to the BMW Isetta. It features a 72 kWh battery with a range of 120 km.

Some models have marked a before and after in the history of the automobile, something that has helped give a high reputation to the companies responsible for creating those models. A clear example is the iconic BMW Isetta, a small city car with several peculiarities that made it a unique vehicle. Despite the years that have passed since its production ceased, some brands have not been able to forget this small BMW, something that has happened in the case of Eagle.
This Chinese company focuses on producing 100% electric vehicles, a type of powertrain that is very well established in the Asian country. Specifically, they have carried out what is known as the EG6330K, a small vehicle powered by an internal battery that takes the already veteran BMW Isetta as the basis of its design. To be more precise, it has been inspired by the Isetta 600, an elongated version of the German city car.
The main difference we find with the BMW is that, in the case of the EG6330K, it loses the charismatic door that the German variant featured. In the Isetta, occupants entered the cabin through the front, one of the elements that gained the most fame for the small vehicle created by BMW. The Eagle shows a more conventional access with four regular doors, something that also allows it to accommodate up to four occupants inside.

The Chinese compact is characterised by an electric motor of 72 kWh, more than enough power to move its modest 750 kg weight. At the same time, the Eagle EG6330K is capable of reaching a top speed of 60 km/h, a figure well suited to tackling China’s urban environment. Other differences we find compared with the BMW Isetta -besides the configuration and the powertrain- concern the cabin, since it features elements in keeping with the era of its manufacture.
The Eagle offers its occupants essentials found in today’s vehicles, such as air conditioning, a radio with the option to connect a music player and an instrument cluster with all the necessary information. Without a doubt, the Eagle stands out as the ideal candidate to tame any city in the world thanks to its small size -it measures less than four metres in length- and its electric powertrain, which offers a range of 120 kilometres.
The Chinese brand wanted to pay tribute to the BMW Isetta, one of the most iconic vehicles of all time, and, whether we like it or not, they have managed to do a good job by fusing the classic and the modern worlds. Without a doubt, the Eagle EG6330K has everything needed to win over the Chinese public and, little by little, this type of car will be introduced in other parts of the world.
