The Ebro S800 begins production at the Ebro Factory: it will soon be on the market

After several months building the Ebro S700, the revived Spanish company is starting production of the Ebro S800. This is the second model to come out of the Barcelona plant. Previously, work was done on assembling several units that have been used to carry out various tests and fine-tune the last details so that everything works correctly.

This allows the deadlines set by the brand to be met, and it has already managed to put two SUVs on the market. As production increases, jobs are being recovered and the assembly pace is picking up. Today 700 people have returned to their jobs, just as was established when Ebro’s activity began.

Both models are technologically advanced SUVs and feature driver-assistance systems. For the time being, the plant is handling the production of the combustion-engine version, although the plug-in hybrid version is expected to begin production within a relatively short time.

It is expected that during 2025 some 25,000 units of the two models will be sold, positioning them on the market as one of the best-selling in their segment. To achieve this, 45 sales points have already been opened throughout the national territory.

The Ebro S800 arrives

The Ebro S800 is 4.7 metres long and can accommodate up to seven people. The petrol engine is 1.6 litres, with an output of 147 CV. It is paired with a seven-speed automatic gearbox, which guarantees smoothness and efficiency when changing gear up or down.

As standard equipment, there is a good range of driving aids, heated and ventilated seats, with a footrest on the front passenger seat. A Sony sound system is also available, and the infotainment system is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The boot offers a considerable capacity of 1,930 litres.

The warranty offered by Ebro gives peace of mind for seven years or 150,000 kilometres. In addition, the company offers an extensive network of partner workshops that help carry out maintenance and repairs with the greatest efficiency.
