The elegant and powerful Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Cabrio is already priced for Spain

Mercedes-AMG closed 2023 by presenting the CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé, a model in which all the elegance of the CLE turns into pure sportiness and power, which also comes with the ECO label thanks to its mild-hybrid system (MHEV). A few months later, Mercedes-AMG gave it back some of its elegance by presenting the CLE 53 4MATIC+ Cabrio, a version with which we can style our hair thanks to its more than 400 CV, and which is already available in Spain.

Let’s recall that aesthetically the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Cabrio looks just as imposing as its Coupé sibling, all thanks to its distinctive design led by the huge grille with vertical slats and the large air intakes of its bumper, with aerodynamic inserts in the side ones, plus a silhouette that grows in size thanks to the new wheel arches. At the rear, the novelties are a discreet rear spoiler and a new design for the LED light cluster, while the diffuser with its twin exhaust outlets hints that this is an AMG model.

Mechanically, it features the six-cylinder, 3,000 cc turbo engine equipped with 48 V technology mild-hybrid, which delivers a power output of 449 CV and a maximum torque of 560 Nm, which can momentarily rise to 600 Nm thanks to the Overboost function. Power is sent to all four wheels by default thanks to the 4MATIC+ system, although depending on the mode it can be sent only to the rear axle, together with the 9G Speedshift automatic gearbox.

The new Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Cabrio is now available to order in the Spanish market, with a starting price of 106,575 euros.
