The EVO 7 has arrived in Italy and could soon reach Spain
This large seven-seat SUV from China will soon arrive in Italy, where its price is already known, and it is expected to reach Spain afterwards.

There are little-known brands that can become a very attractive alternative for many drivers. EVO is a Chinese brand sold in Italy under the DR badge, and it is also arriving in our country under that same name. The Italian distributor has launched a new model, which joins the rest of the brand’s vehicles in its range. It is the EVO 7, a segment D SUV, with room for up to seven passengers.
That said, this model represents a step forward in design compared with the previous models. This is noticeable overall, but also specifically at the front. The grille has a design similar to the earlier ones, with a honeycomb pattern, but adds vertical slats to give it a new look.

Next to this grille are very slim headlight units, arranged horizontally. Below them sit larger ones, housing the indicators and other lights. At the rear, a thin line of LED lights joins both light units, creating a light signature that is increasingly common on many models.

The roof also stands out, as it is flat to provide space for the heads of rear-seat occupants. In terms of size, it measures 4,790 millimetres in length, which allows a capacity of seven seats, although there will also be a six-seat version.
Interior of the EVO 7
The Chinese SUV offers several new features inside to make it more comfortable to drive. The digital instrumentation is housed within a 10-inch screen, while a 12.3-inch multimedia screen handles the display and control of the infotainment system. This, incidentally, offers connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The gear lever is small, which contributes to a cleaner cabin appearance and more comfortable use. Several storage spaces have also been added, so small items can be kept conveniently close to the driver.
As for the interior space for six passengers, they have individual seats. In the seven-seat configuration, the vehicle has two of these individual seats, so one or two can be fitted in the rear. The central bench seats three.
Boot capacity, with all seven seats in place, is 250 litres. If the two rear seats are folded, this increases to 1,050 litres, and if the central bench is removed, a considerable 1,900 litres is achieved.
Engine of the EVO 7
As for the engine of the EVO 7, it features a 1.5-litre unit, producing 175 CV and 288 Nm of torque. Its consumption is 7.4 litres per 100 kilometres. Power is sent to the front axle through a six-speed automatic gearbox.
In Italy, this model will cost 29,900 euros. If it arrives in Spain, as expected, the price will not be much different, so we are looking at a large SUV with a fairly competitive price.
