The fastest street BMW, the M5 Hurricane

By adding a twin turbo to the 5.0-litre V10 of the M5, G-Power raised its output to 730 CV and named it the Hurricane. They were aiming for 800 CV, but it seems they fell a little short…
On 31 January, they took it to the German Papenburg circuit and managed to push it to 360 km/h, 10 km/h more than they expected. In doing so, it has become the fastest street BMW.
The peculiarity of the Papenburg circuit is that it is oval, measures 12.3 km in length and has banking of up to 49.7 degrees in the corners. It offers ideal conditions for pushing machines of this kind to their limit.
More photos of the model, after the jump.
