The Fiat Panda 4x4 third generation would be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show

The new Fiat Panda 4×4 would already be ready to be presented at the Paris Motor Show.

The Fiat Panda 4×4 has been the favourite of many people who use it to get around every day on difficult roads, reaching places that few more expensive SUVs can reach. Partly because most of the all-wheel-drive SUVs on the market still lack the versatility of the small Panda and its generous ground clearance, and also because they seem made to show off on city streets rather than to tackle steep climbs or roads that look impossible.

With the new generation of the Fiat Panda, the 4×4 version could not be missing, which the Italian company is reportedly preparing for the next Paris Motor Show. As for the look of the Panda 4×4, there is not much more to add after the leaks from the patent registry it has been subject to.

As can be seen, the small 4×4 will feature a profusion of protective elements for travelling on difficult roads. It is also said that it will integrate an electronic differential for all-wheel drive, although this detail has not yet been officially confirmed Fiat. What we can confirm is that the third generation of the 4×4 will reach Fiat dealerships from early 2013.

Either way, the “all-terrain” Panda is expected to have the same standing that earlier models of this variant have earned. For now, the almost indestructible 1.3 Multijet diesel engine will be part of the lineup, along with other petrol engines.
