The first Corvette ZR1 is handed over to its owner

The first Corvette ZR1 has left the assembly plant in Kentucky, and its proud owner is a Chevrolet dealer named Dave Ressler, who won his 638-horsepower sports car at a public auction for 1 million dollars, an amount ten times the base price of the ZR1 on the market.
The happy owner was able to sit in the car and go for a spin around the factory, and then let his granddaughter Ayden drive the sports car for quite a while.
Unlike other blue devils, this one has a unique VIN number that identifies it, as well as an exclusive Le Mans Blue paint that doesn’t appear on any other car.
After testing its performance, the car was placed on a trailer to be taken to Montana, where it will join a museum with 45 other examples from the collection, such as the #003 1953 Corvette.
It’s a real shame that such a beast is just another intensive-care patient, when in reality its wild spirit cries out to hit the streets and show its power in any situation.
