The first electric car from Skoda: Octavia Green E Line

Just a few hours ago we were telling you about the Skoda MissionL Concept, and now it’s time to announce the electric Octavia, to put it more directly. Specifically, the Octavia Green E Line marks the start of the Octavia’s journey into the world of electric cars.
And this journey begins with the presentation of 10 of these first Octavias, which will begin to be used in test fleets. The Green E Line stems from a concept shown last year in Paris and uses the platform of the Octavia Estate/Wagon.
This new first electric model from the brand features an electric motor that delivers a maximum output of 114 CV with a maximum torque of 270 Nm.
Skoda also announces that the Green E Line has a lithium battery pack of 26.5 kWh that can give the car a range of 150 kilometres, and it comes with a brake energy recovery system.
There are no immediate plans for production; instead, the data from these first 10 models will be used to prepare the brand for upcoming electric models.
