The first Karting track located at the top of a cruise ship will be Ferrari and will feature electric karts!
The Norwegian Cruise Line has added a karting track on one of its ships in collaboration with Scuderia Ferrari watches.

The Norwegian Cruise Line has partnered with the watch division of Ferrari, Scuderia Ferrari watches, to install a karting track at the top of one of its most distinguished ships, the “Norwegian Joy”. This will be the first karting track offered on a passenger cruise ship.
The track is decorated with the emblem and colors of the prancing horse, and, unlike conventional tracks, it will feature a fleet of electric karts. The circuit will allow up to ten drivers per race, and as is customary, the racers will be photographed during the session so they can take home a lasting memory of the experience.
Passengers in The Haven and Concierge classes will be able to enjoy a series of free racesIt is not yet known how much each session on the track will cost, but Norwegian Cruise has already confirmed that passengers in The Haven and Concierge classes will be able to enjoy a series of free races as part of the amenities and perks offered by the ship’s most exclusive suites and staterooms.
In addition to the track, passengers will have on board a Scuderia Ferrari watch shop and a race simulator from the Italian brand, which the cruise line has described as “cutting-edge”. This cruise also offers two multi-level water slides on the upper deck and an outdoor laser tag arena.
The Norwegian Joy is a luxury cruise ship with a capacity for up to 3,850 passengers, and it is the first ship built specifically for the Chinese market. The vessel will begin its maiden voyage on June 27 of this year and its home ports will be Shanghai and Tianjin.
