The Ford Fiesta, the most searched car on Google

Google Zeitgeist analyses the search terms of millions of queries made over the course of the year, and it also looks at trends. And one of the new topics that Google analyses starting this year is cars.
If you spend much of your time connected to the Internet, you will know that, out of more than a trillion annual searches on Google, the Ford Fiesta was the most searched car during 2010, overtaking other slightly newer models in traffic volume.
Besides the new Fiesta, the Hyundai ix35 and the new Fiat Uno also drew enough searches to come close to the Fiesta, although they did not overtake the new heavyweight Ford.
Both at the SEMA and the Fiesta WRC presented in Paris, the Fiesta ST, the Fiesta of Ken Block, or the adventures of Jeremy Clarkson with the Fiesta… The truth is that Ford can close the year feeling that the Fiesta has risen higher than ever before.
