The new Ford Ranger redefines the pick-up concept with a towing capacity of 3,500 kg and superior torque
Ford Pro will make the world debut of the new Ford Ranger Plug-in Hybrid, a vehicle that promises to revolutionise the pick-up segment with its innovative hybrid propulsion system. The event, held in Hannover, Germany, from 16 to 22 September, will serve as a showcase for the latest developments in the transport industry, and Ford has not wanted to be left behind.
The new Ranger Plug-in Hybrid combines the powerful 2.3-litre EcoBoost petrol engine with an electric motor, achieving remarkable energy efficiency and unprecedented torque for the Ranger model. With this configuration, Ford guarantees that the new pick-up will offer the greatest load, towing and off-road performance in its class, without sacrificing power or versatility.
One of the most outstanding features of this new model is its impressive towing capacity, which reaches up to 3,500 kg, making it an ideal choice for both heavy-duty work and outdoor adventures. In addition, the combination of the electric motor with the petrol engine improves both fuel consumption and the driving experience across different terrains.
Alongside the Ranger Plug-in Hybrid, Ford Pro will also present its new electrified range of the Transit, a symbol of high productivity for professionals. Furthermore, the brand will showcase its Liive pop-up Centre, an innovative service that uses real-time data from connected vehicles to optimise uptime, improving the efficiency and productivity of its customers.
