The Freelander 8 reveals its interior: this is what the Chinese driver will see
The Freelander 8 shows us the inside of its cabin, with a large 46.3-inch screen and a second 15.6-inch multimedia display.

The Freelander 8 is almost ready for market launch, so we are beginning to see some of the features that this new SUV model coming from the collaboration between the Group Chery and Jaguar Land Rover will bring. The model was announced in April and we are now learning more about this crossover, specifically its minimalist interior.
The interior of this SUV is dominated by a large panoramic screen that runs across the entire top of the dashboard, at the base of the windscreen. In front of the driver is the digital instrument cluster. The central section offers information about the vehicle, and in front of the passenger there is a large clock. Nevertheless, this is what we see in the images released by the brand, although it is expected to be customisable and even to offer entertainment functions in this last section.

The large panoramic screen measures 46.3 inches. The information and entertainment system is controlled by a 15.6-inch central screen. Another feature we will find in this technology-focused, minimalist cabin is a set of physical controls located below the central multimedia screen.

The cabin features an ambient lighting system with 256 colours. To improve comfort at the wheel of the Freelander 8, there is a fragrance diffuser to create a pleasant space. The front passenger seat is electrically adjustable, so the passenger can travel more comfortably.
As for the electric motor, it will feature a range-extender system with a 1.5-litre combustion engine, supported by a 60.3 kWh battery. This will give it a range of 221 kilometres. This model is expected to go on sale at the end of 2026, so we will not have to wait long to learn more details about it.
