Honda has just unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show the final look of the Honda Urban SUV, which will be known as VEZEL in the local market. Its launch is planned for 20 December of this same year; however, in Europe we must still wait to learn its marketing name and wait until 2015 for its commercialisation.

The exterior of the Honda VEZEL stands out for combining a coupé-style design with muscular and generous lines that convey a more aggressive character. Meanwhile, inside the cabin, we find a clear orientation towards comfort and functionality.

For now, the Honda VEZEL will go on sale in Japan with two engine options available: a petrol and a hybrid. The first alternative consists of the 1.5 direct-injection engine, while the hybrid system is made up of the 1.5-litre engine plus another high-output electric motor, forming the Sport Hybrid i-DCD system. All of this allows fairly modest consumption levels for the Honda VEZEL.

Another model you can find on the Honda stand at this Tokyo Motor Show is the S660 Concept, a genuine sports car with a mid-mounted transverse engine, with which the brand aims to set a benchmark in dynamic driving and stability. Although it is still in the development phase, we could see the production model in early 2015.
