Bugatti Chiron Veyron Sports Cars
The hypercars of Bugatti you've never seen
Today we’re going to take a look at several hypercars from Bugatti that never made it to production, but whose concepts did exist.
Few car manufacturers can boast the prestige, elegance and exclusivity that Bugatti holds. Its models are among the most expensive and extreme on the entire market.

Today we’re going on a tour of several concepts that the French manufacturer itself never brought to fruition and that, therefore, many of you won’t even know. Buckle up, because there are curves ahead…
Bugatti Veyron Barchetta convertible
We start with a convertible. It’s a drop-top version of the famous Veyron. Its name, “Barchetta”, and as you can see in the video, it really did look incredible.

The idea behind the model was to offer one more, “youthful” option by adding the convertible body style. Of course, it also carried the same engine as the Veyron, meaning that those famous 1,000 CV introduced in 2008 were not going to be taken away from it by anyone.
In the end, the executives at Lamborghini decided that this version was not a good option, given what it cost to produce and the expected sales for something as exclusive as this.
Bugatti Atlantic concept
We raise the bar with the Bugatti Atlantic concept. This model was presented at the manufacturer’s offices in France in 2015. It was intended to be a more affordable option than the Chiron.

As we can see in the images, its lines overflow with elegance, and the Atlantic certainly looked like a more understated option than the Chiron.

In addition, the Bugatti Atlantic was meant to become a hybrid option, with a V8 engine on one hand and an electric motor on the other. In the end, the manufacturer concluded it was better to abandon the project, something we in the editorial team regret, because it looked very good.
Bugatti Rembrandt
The Bugatti Rembrandt shares a strong resemblance in its lines with the brand’s most recent and exclusive model, the Bugatti La Noire.
This impressive concept was going to become the brand’s most ambitious, expensive and radical model. It would have featured a W16 engine like the one found in the Bugatti Chiron. Its total output would have been around 1,500 CV.

This coupe version also carries some design features from the Bugatti Barchetta, especially at the front, though it obviously does not include a convertible option.

One of the reasons the production of this vehicle was ruled out was precisely the extremely high price its construction would have entailed, forcing the brand to offer the model for roughly 20 million dollars, figures that, even at this level, are ridiculous. Therefore, we believe they made the most sensible decision.
