The Hyundai Elantra N gets a facelift and debuts some interesting new features

Since its official debut back in 2021, the Hyundai Elantra N, one of the most attractive models from the sportiest division of Hyundai that unfortunately we don’t get in Europe, had not featured in any post on Highmotor. However, the Shanghai Auto Show taking place these days has brought us the Hyundai Elantra N 2024 as its big news.

The update to this model debuts first with design changes, featuring more pronounced body lines, newly designed, sleekly styled light clusters, a front bumper even more aggressive than its predecessor’s, with a generous portion of its surface in black and the Hyundai logo also in black.

From the side view, except for the front wing, which had to be modified due to its new lighting system, the Elantra N keeps virtually all of its bodywork shapes intact, with very pronounced style creases on the doors and hips, well-defined wheel arches, and black and red side skirts with the N logos on each side.

New shoes for the 2024 Elantra N

The 2024 Elantra N adds new 19-inch clover-shaped alloy wheels which, although they suit the overall look well, in our humble opinion are not as cool as those of the previous version.

At the rear, the N gets new LED taillights with a simpler, more modern light signature, a bumper with a redesigned diffuser, the logos and lettering again in black, and the sporty spoiler over the boot lid that suits the model so well.

Power figures still pending

As far as its mechanical side is concerned, Hyundai has not wanted to offer any specific data on this, although we do know it will keep the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that in its current version produces no less than 289 CV and 392 Nm of torque.

All in all, we can only wait to learn more details about this sporty saloon so longed for by many fans of the brand and lovers of the spicier models.
