The Hyundai Kona facelift sharpens the crossover's presence
Hyundai refreshes the popular crossover with a more aggressive, dynamic look for the Hyundai Kona, especially in its N Line variant within the range

The inspiration drawn from the animal world seems to keep bearing fruit in Hyundai’s design language. If the new Hyundai Santa Fe features a front end reminiscent of a viper’s face, the update to the Hyundai Kona will dive into the sea for inspiration from sharks.
On the one hand, the popular SUV from the South Korean brand will sport a new appearance, more streamlined and, in any case, dynamic, thanks to a front end that is even sharper, which lets the viewer perceive an aggressive pareidolia in the Hyundai Kona’s facelift, and which will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks across its different versions.
The angular, narrow lights that the revamped Hyundai Kona will feature remain a signature of distinction on the brand’s new-generation cars, and the use of LEDs for lighting allows the dimensions of the light units to be adjusted even further.

So much so that, increasingly tending toward a thin illuminated line rather than what traditionally have been understood as headlights, the optics shown on the new front end of the Hyundai Kona appear as luminous traces that accompany and rest upon other intersecting and parallel lines.
Be that as it may, the width of the new grille forms a broad smile that closes off its look with a lower configuration featuring a sort of diffusers that, we understand, improve airflow as it cuts across the same.
Hyundai Kona N Line

The variant distinguished as the N Line, which takes on certain sporty qualities, features an even more extreme configuration geared toward maximum aerodynamic implementation.
An improvement that even entails relocating the brand’s logo, due to the presence in its place of three air-channelling intakes next to the distinctive grille itself, and by the emblem worn by the versions inspired by the extreme behaviour of Hyundai vehicles developed by the department based at the Nürburgring Circuit, which take the initial as their own. Given that it features a lower cavity in the bumper flanked by a pair of appendages, it adds up to a sturdier stance even more robust than the standard.
