Infiniti QX50 Salón de Los Ángeles SUV
The Infiniti QX50 is already a reality, and we can see it in an image gallery
After seeing a first image of this spectacular Premium SUV from the brand under the umbrella of Nissan, a gallery of images arrives so that we can take a proper look at it

Not long ago we were able to see a first image of the new Infiniti QX50, which presented a truly striking appearance. But now it has been unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, so it is no longer a car of which we can see a partial image; instead, there is an extensive image gallery that brings us closer to the design details of an SUV that will leave a good impression.
We already saw that the intention of Nissan has been to maintain the spirit of the concept car presented months ago, keeping everything good that stood out in it and enhancing other aspects to make it more accessible to the market. The model’s figure starts from a length of 4,693 mm, somewhat less than the BMW X3 that will be its natural rival, but it is slightly wider, taller and has a slightly lower weight. Specifically, the front-wheel-drive versions reach 1,736 kg.

The new platform on which the model is built allows the use of the new technologies of the Japanese brand, in addition to offering a spacious interior designed to be comfortable and pleasant. In fact, Infiniti says the luggage compartment can reach 1,699 litres of capacity if the rear seats are folded down.

INFINITI QX50
The Infiniti QX50 will be offered in two versions, front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, both paired with a newly designed CVT gearbox. This transmission also allows manual gear changes, as it features eight preset ratios that can be selected through the XTRONIC CVT system. It also offers several driving modes, which change the characteristics of the engine, suspension and steering to adapt to road conditions.

As for the all-wheel-drive option, it remains inactive for most of the time, since power goes to the front axle and only sends up to 50% of the torque to the rear axle when necessary. Inside, it has several driver assistance systems included in ProPILOT, the system that Nissan uses in its new models and that allows a certain degree of autonomy.
We discuss the engine in this article, because it has certain advantages over other powertrains from the brand. It is a four-cylinder, 2.0-litre unit that delivers 268 CV and a maximum torque of 380 Nm, which helps the car deliver the response expected from the brand. What do you think of this model now that you can see more images of it?
