The KIA K4 promises an interesting compact for the European market with Korean technology
The KIA K4 will arrive in the European market during the third quarter of 2025, first in the United Kingdom and then in the rest of countries, including Spain.

We already know KIA’s new proposal, the all-new K4, which has been presented for the UK market. That said, this model will soon arrive in the rest of European markets, although the exact launch date of this model in continental territories is not yet known. What we have seen is a compact car with a length of 4.44 metres, a width of 1.85 metres and a height of 1.43 metres. The wheelbase is 2.72 metres.
In the United States, this model is offered both in this form and with a saloon body to suit all buyers. In the case of Europe, it will only be available as a compact, a body style that offers more practicality than saloons. Inside there is a generous space, offering a 438-litre boot with the combustion engine and 328 litres with the mild-hybrid engine.

Looking at capacity with the rear seats folded down, this rises to 1,217 and 1,107 litres respectively, which is quite attractive for users. As for engines, as we have mentioned, two are available. The first is a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. In this case, the unit produces 115 CV. This engine is available as a conventional engine and as a mild-hybrid engine.

The petrol variant is paired with a manual gearbox and an automatic gearbox in the case of the mild-hybrid engine. The second option is equipped with a 1.6 T-GDi engine with outputs of 150 and 180 CV, with a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Later, in 2026, KIA says a conventional hybrid version will arrive.
The interior of the KIA K4
Inside the KIA K4 we find a panoramic display that integrates three functions: a 12.3-inch instrument cluster screen; a 5.3-inch screen dedicated to climate control and another 12.3-inch screen for the infotainment system. This model includes the ccNC (Connected Car Navigation Cockpit) system, which offers Android and Apple connectivity, wireless updates, digital key and voice and AI assistant.
In terms of comfort, there is considerable legroom in the second row and a headroom of 973 mm. So that users can travel in comfort, the front seats are heated and ventilated, the upholstery is bio-based artificial leather and a Harman Kardon premium sound system is available as an option.
As for production of the model, it will be carried out at KIA’s plant in Mexico, from where it will be supplied to the European and US markets. For that country, there are several options different from the European ones, so there may be changes in future variants of the model.
