The Lamborghini Huracan Performante shows its active aerodynamics in video

Less than a week before Lamborghini presents the new member of the family, the Huracan Performante, a new video posted online shows the aerodynamics of the new model in action. Its ultra-light weight and increased power will be its main assets in beating the Aventador’s lap time at the Nürburgring circuit.

The Lamborghini Performante has been spotted at the Nürburgring circuit. Everything points to the Italian supercar setting a new lap record on the German track, beating the Aventador’s time (6 minutes and 59 seconds).

In the latest video published by Lamborghini, we can see the renewed aerodynamics of the Huracan Performante. The supercar features two new active components – a front splitter and a rear spoiler – which will provide an increase in grip through high-speed corners.

In the description of this teaser video, Lamborghini mentions the ALA technology (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva). This system, which will be introduced on the new Huracan Performante, will allow the active and innovative management of this model’s aerodynamics. The Italian marque will offer more details about this technology during the official presentation of the supercar. The world debut of the Huracan Performante will take place on March 7 at the Geneva Motor Show.

The new Italian supercar is expected to be 40 kg lighter than the standard Huracan. Its 5.2-litre V10 engine will offer between 625 and 640 CV of power, while the Huracan’s dual-clutch transmission has received several modifications that will be introduced in the Performante version. The suspension of this vehicle has also been updated. Taken together, the Huracan Performante should bring plenty of joy to enthusiasts in the coming months.
