The Lamborghini Jota spotted at the Nürburgring

Over the last few days, Lamborghini has shown us three small teasers of what it is supposedly going to present at the Paris Motor Show. Until we have more information, today we bring you the latest and juicy images of the tests that Lamborghini is carrying out with the replacement for the Murciélago, the Lamborghini Jota.

The camouflage is very thick, but we can already start to guess some of the features of this new supercar. According to the authors of the photographs, Lambroghini tested two units of the Jota at the Nürburgring circuit, one with a rear spoiler (possible Jota Superleggera?) and another without it. In addition, in the afternoon, a third prototype was seen circling the same circuit closely followed by a Gallardo, presumably to evaluate the performance of the new model.

According to the website Worldcarfans, the Jota will have an aluminium structure with carbon fibre parts to reduce weight. In fact, the Jota’s mass is expected to be considerably lower than that of the Murciélago. To propel the Jota there will be a V12 direct-injection engine that will generate a maximum output of approximately 700 CV. A four-wheel drive system will be responsible for transmitting such extraordinary power to the ground.

In short, Lamborghini will launch to the market a vehicle with plenty of power and low weight. The result, as you can imagine, will be epic, and there is no doubt that it will become one of the reference sports cars of its era. Let’s hope the rumours are true that the definitive model will be presented in Paris. We won’t have to wait long to find out.
