The Lamborghini Lamborghini Performante shows off its active aerodynamics
A teaser video shows the active aerodynamics of the new Lamborghini Performante.
Less than a week before Lamborghini unveils the newest member of the family, the Huracan Performante, a new video posted online shows the new model’s aerodynamics in action. Its ultra-light weight and increased power will be its main assets in beating the Aventador’s lap time at the Nürburgring circuit.
The Lamborghini Lamborghini Performante has been spotted at the Nürburgring circuit. Everything points to the Italian supercar setting a new lap record on the German track, beating the Lamborghini Aventador’s time (6 minutes and 59 seconds). In the latest video published by Lamborghini, we can see the Huracan Performante’s renewed aerodynamics. The supercar features two new active components – a front splitter and rear spoiler – which will provide an increase in grip through high-speed corners.

In the description of this teaser video, Lamborghini mentions the ALA technology (Aerodinamica Lamborhini Attiva). This system, which will be introduced on the new Huracan Performante, will allow the model’s aerodynamics to be actively and innovatively managed. The Italian manufacturer will offer more details about this technology during the supercar’s official presentation. The Huracan Performante’s world debut will take place on March 1st at the Geneva Motor Show.
The new Italian supercar is expected to be 40 kg lighter than the standard Huracán. Its 5.2-litre V10 engine will deliver between 625 and 640 CV of power, while the Huracan’s dual-clutch transmission has received several modifications that will be introduced on the Performante version. The vehicle’s suspension has also been updated. Taken together, all of the above should give enthusiasts plenty to look forward to in the coming months.
