Lancia PU+RA Electric Cars Concepts Coupés Industry
The Lancia PU+RA lands in Spain with this Goodyear tyre
Goodyear has teamed up this time with the Italian brand Lancia, fitting a tyre that improves the energy efficiency and performance of its PU+RA model

Goodyear, one of the largest tyre companies in the world, is constantly striving to develop cutting-edge products and services that contribute to the performance of the industry. This time it has helped the Italian brand Lancia, part of the Stellantis group, with its new model PU+RA HPE, providing it with a tyre featuring the best characteristics and performance.
The Lancia PU+RA HPE Concept is the first vehicle of the new electrified era of Lancia, representing the brand’s future vision in terms of design, technology, sustainability and the new sense of home with which they want to endow their new models.

The Lancia Pu+Ra HPE prototype has been seen on the streets of Madrid, shown alongside its new Goodyear tyre and representing the return to life of this forgotten Italian brand. However, everything points to the first model the brand will produce being the Ypsilon, with its emissions-free launch in 2024.
Goodyear has developed an exclusive tyre for this model. The tyre delivers high aerodynamic performance and remarkable energy efficiency, achieved through a custom-designed tyre sidewall that provides a seamless integration of the rim with the tyre, adding a luxurious and premium look to the new concept.
Laurent Colantonio, Senior Director of Consumer Technology at Goodyear for EMEA, has stated: “This year Goodyear celebrates its 125th anniversary, so it is a fantastic moment to partner with Lancia for the rebirth of its iconic brand, once again bringing together two pioneers of the automotive world at a moment of glory. We are delighted to have worked on this tyre prototype, which has led us to think innovatively about customisation, aerodynamics and design.”

This model has now become a reality, after seven years of inactivity from a great brand like Lancia, previously recognised for its exquisite design, sports cars and the great technological display they carried. They have brought to life their concept based on an electric coupé. The PU+RA has already been seen in some places in its “Verde Progressive” tone inspired by the Lancia Flaminia Azzurro Vincennes, and some of us have had the chance to see it on the streets of Madrid.
