The Lexus ES 300h adds the new Luxury and Premium trim levels to its range
The Lexus ES 300h updates the Premium trim and the now Luxury D-View trim, with very interesting new features such as digital rear-view mirrors

Lexus wants to be a more global brand in order to compete head-to-head with the major premium vehicle manufacturers and, with this goal set in its roadmap, the luxury brand of Toyota brought us to Europe as part of this plan with the ES 300h, a saloon equipped with the latest technological and safety innovations that began its journey on the old continent in early 2019.
Lexus needs the ES 300h to achieve even more ambitious sales figures, which is why it is a very important model within its lineup, with which it hopes even more customers will opt for this saloon. To do so, it is logically necessary to offer a product that stands out above the rest, not only in terms of aesthetics but also by offering up-to-date technological equipment. That is why in 2021 the Lexus ES 300h will see two of its trim levels updated with interesting new features.
Luxury D-View trim

At Lexus they have always been characterised by offering a wide standard range of safety and driver assistance systems, so safety is an important part of their vehicles, and it is in this direction that the novelties of the Luxury trim are aimed, which is now renamed Luxury D-View thanks to the elements it now offers.
If we opt for this trim, the Lexus ES 300h will come as standard with the new digital rear-view mirrors which, as you can see, blend perfectly with the elegant exterior design of this saloon. In addition, as they are smaller than conventional mirrors, they reduce noise and widen the driver’s diagonal field of vision. They feature cameras housed in the aerodynamic casing and positioned so that they cannot be covered by drops of water or snow, and they have integrated heaters to prevent ice or fogging from forming, although, if necessary, the driver can activate the anti-fog system from inside.

The digital rear-view mirrors fold automatically when the ES 300h is locked and, once inside, we can adjust their position via a panel similar to those of conventional mirrors. From the driver’s seat, on each side at the height of the mirrors themselves, there are 5-inch screens at the base of the A-pillar which will always show a standard view, but if we activate the indicators or engage reverse, the screen will show an enlarged view of the area close to the vehicle and the rear, thus eliminating blind spots. Once the manoeuvre is complete, it returns to the standard view, although the driver can at any time manually activate the enlarged view or simply deactivate it.
If we opt for the Luxury D-View trim, the price of the Lexus ES 300h starts from 72,200 euros.
Premium trim

The Premium trim for the Lexus ES 300h offers a balance between technological and safety equipment, so as standard we find features such as the Lexus Safety System + safety package, Blind Spot Monitor, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Brake, as well as a heated steering wheel, rain sensor and automatic windscreen defrosting system.
Along with the above and other features, the Premium trim will also include a new 12.3-inch infotainment system screen, which can be operated by voice commands or by the Remote Touch Pad. It features a split-screen display from which various vehicle systems can be accessed, such as viewing the climate control while using the Lexus Premium Navigation system for GPS directions. It is also worth noting that it offers connectivity via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
The starting price for the Premium trim of the Lexus ES 300h is 52,900 euros.
