LC Lexus Convertibles Sports Cars
The Lexus LC renews its range for 2024 and debuts a limited edition
The Lexus sports car debuts interesting new equipment features across its range and a new limited edition called Ultimate Edition with a very exclusive design
Following its last range update at the end of 2021, the only news we have had about the popular Lexus LC over the past two years has been the arrival of a few special editions, such as the Hokkaido Edition and the Bespoke Carbon. However, Lexus, not content with that, has just presented its latest renewal of the Lexus LC 2024 range with the aim of strengthening its position in the market.
Starting with its expanded equipment, the new Lexus LC 2024 debuts important updates to its technology features, as it adds a new touchscreen for the 12.3-inch infotainment system with a clean design that now sits closer to the driver, an improved voice assistant, and better connectivity with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Connectivity improvements too
The Lexus Link smartphone app also receives new enhancements, such as the ability to lock or unlock the doors remotely, control the vehicle’s climate system, or add a cloud-based navigation system with updated real-time traffic and road condition information. Finally, there is a 13-speaker Mark Levinson Surround audio system, with the speakers in the rear seatbacks and the side panels of the instrument cluster optimised.

Setting aside the technology updates, the new LC, in both its Coupé and Cabrio versions, also features new colour combinations for its cabin (blue/white and red) and for its bodywork. It also adds new wing mirrors with a more aerodynamic design that promise to improve acoustic comfort.
Likewise, all LC models now come with three new forged wheel designs: 20-inch with a glossy black metallic finish, 21-inch in a matt black finish, and 21-inch in a bicolour black hypercrome finish. Not to forget the 360-degree panoramic view system and the front pre-collision safety system, which now also detects cyclists.

Improved behaviour and comfort
Lexus has also revised the chassis as a whole, making changes to the suspension springs, anti-roll bars, steering column and engine mounts, all to deliver firmer handling and an improved experience when behind the wheel of this sports car.
Without making any changes to its mechanical side, the new LC also debuts the special Ultimate Edition in its range, which features a satin white finish inspired by Japanese porcelain, multiple black trims and inserts along the bodywork, a redesigned front bumper, and an interior in a dark purple shade that makes an elegant contrast with the bodywork.
Finally, Lexus has announced that the special edition will enter production in September 2023, and the rest of the LC versions in May 2023.
